The data collected on the physical or digital platform is stored, processed, edited, and managed using a computer system composed of a set of software solutions supported by a combination of hardware devices and/or paper files are stored in cabinets, in rooms with restricted access.

PERSONAL DATA THAT MAY BE COLLECTED
In the current Privacy Policy, the term "Personal Data" means the amount of information that is related to you and that allows us to identify you, directly or indirectly. The personal data of a costumer or supplier may include identification and contact details such as the full or abbreviated name of the entity and its representatives, address, physical and electronic contacts (phone and e-mail), taxpayer identification numbers, among other information necessary for professional services contract. An employee's personal data may also include copies of the documents that are included in the following categories:
- Identification and contact details: name, date of birth and/or age, gender, nationality/birthplace, address, phone and fax number, email address, educational qualifications, and the type, number and copy of the identification document.
- Family status.
- Data regarding professional activity.
- Remuneration data.
- Other data.
PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING PURPOSES
Employees' personal data may be collected and treated by FM TÊXTEIS S.A. for the following purposes:
- Administrative management.
- Calculation and payment of salaries, benefits, allowances, and subsidies.
- Calculation and withholding tax relating to deductions from remuneration, whether mandatory or optional, resulting from legal requirements.
- Enforcement of judicial decisions or sentences, as well as processing requests made by employees.
- Handling other salary, benefit, allowance, or subsidy issues.
- Handling other certification and audit issues.
Customers/suppliers' data is collected and treated for the following purposes:
- Administrative management.
- Handling issues related to transactions involving goods and services.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
- Handling other certification and audit issues.
PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD
We only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in the previous point and to comply with the law:
- For administrative employee management purposes, data may be kept for a period of TWO YEARS after the employee's contract has ceased.
- For remuneration, benefits and employee allowances, the data may be kept for a maximum period of TEN YEARS after the employee's contract has ceased.
- The retention period may be extended for judicial reasons up to SIX MONTHS after the data has been transferred to judicial institutions or the judgment has come to a final decision.
- For pension and social security purposes or the payment of subsequent supplementary benefits owed after the employee's contract has ceased, the necessary data to prove the employee's status, length of service and remuneration progress may be retained for up to FIVE YEARS after the corresponding purposes have ceased.
- For purposes of customers' and suppliers' administrative management, data may be retained for a period of TEN YEARS after the work relationship has ceased.
When the maximum retention period has been reached, your personal data will be securely destroyed/deleted.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
In certain cases we may disclose your personal data to other companies and in these cases we require them to have appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal data.
The data recipients are:
- The entities to whom the data must be communicated by legal provision or at the request of the data subject;
- The financial institutions that manage FM TÊXTEIS accounts for workers' payment purposes;
- Pension fund or welfare system management entities;
- Insurance companies with whom a contract is signed for insurance against accidents at work or personal accidents;
- Medical services entities that provide curative medicine and occupational medicine services at FM TÊXTEIS;
- Entities carrying out audits as part of certification processes.

- Limiting how we use their personal data while we correct it or clarify any doubts about its content or the use we might make of it.
You also have the right to withdraw or change, at any time, the consent you have given us to use your personal data, when the treatment is based on consent.
The practice of these rights is restricted when your personal data is used to preserve the public interest, namely in cases of crime detection and prevention, or when it is subject to professional confidentiality.
